The F series of aircraft were for ground attack. The F-8 was the conversion of the A-8 in an attempt to make an effective straffing model capable of taking out the T-34. The F-8 was the most numerous of the F series with over 3400 having been produced. The 1/48 scale model represents an F-8 from an unknown unit, Germany Spring of 1945
